I am looking for information on William Virginia Boyett who was married to Mary Elizabeth Franklin. Lived in Saline Co., IL until about the late 1860's early 1870's and left and went to TN. Possibly started another family there.

Hi,
Over the past several years I have been researching my husband's family. His great-grandmother was Rebecca Boyette-Helton, daughter of Charles Dudley Helton. I tentatively have Charles as the son of David Boyette all of Duplin Co., NC.

Joe, I'll be glad to share information with you. I do have the Union Hill Cemetery information. It is a gold mine of data for my husband's family.

Joseph, the research is going well. As you know, in the DNA Project we've been able to tie most Boyett lines to Thomas (b ca 1665), and in turn have tied them to Boyetts/Boyts in int the Somerset-Dorset area in the UK. Though results show your line from Henry (b 1815) is also descended from Thomas, we still have work to do in order to show how. Keep diggin'!
