My  great grandmother was Emily Rosaltha Piersall. This spelling traces back to Aaron Piersall who changed it because he was a Quaker and didn;t want to be associated with his family who manufactured armaments in CT.

Emily was d/o John who married Emily Beebe. I have a tree in rootsweb called Wandering Pearsall which is the database form the Clarence Pearsall volumes if you want to see it. Also a site clancywrightgenealogy.org has the tree also. Both of those sites have a disclaimer that not all the info is verified, but a lot of it is now sourced thanks to helpful relatives. it is for anyone to see and use.

Hi, there! I'm related to Sir William Pershall/Parshall through his wife, Frances Aston. Frances Aston was baptized at Chelsea on 16 April 1612, and married before June 1635 to Sir William Pershall of Canwell, co. Stafford, Knight (in his 2nd marriage).

My Pearsall family starts with my great-Aunt Doris Pearsall Jones, and goes back to James Pearsall born about 1755 probably in the state of New York. His son was Abelard Pearsall of Steuben County, New York, and his son was James who married Nancy Green.

Howdy. Welcome to this group. I am a descendent of James Parshall/Pearsall who immigrated from England to Gardiner's Island, NY in the 1600's. My Grandmother's maiden name was Beulah May Parshall.
