I just checked and we do match! Not with myself but with my paternal Aunt Alice Ivey and my brother David and also a distance cousin Deane Lavender and there is 21 shared matches with my aunt. Cool.

I have had a test done.  It was through ancestry but my family trees are private.  I have just made my Parks family tree public.

Hi Bonnie,

Do you have autosomal DNA somewhere? Maybe we match.  Ruth

We are descended from Cyrenius Parke on my mother's side (my 3x gr grandfather) and I wanted to know if we were also descendants of Robert who was purportedly our ancestor.  I had a male cousin who is a Parks take a DNA test through the Parke Society and it proved that he was descended from Robert Parke so that solved the mystery.

I am researching the Cyrenius Parke (1754- 1828) and Elizabeth Hoffmann (1770-1848) in Fredericksburg, Ontario. I presume he descends from Robert Parke (1580-1665) the first Parke ancestor in North America, but I may never prove it. I have found DNA to be very useful so far and it at least has proven a genetic link to Cyrenius and Elizabeth Parke.

I am researching the family of Caroline Park (1824-1879), the daughter of Anson Earl Park (1809-1882) and Amelia Park (1806-1874). Anson and Amelia were from Connecticut. These individuals are buried in New Hartford, Oneida County, New York.

I am new to this group and have had a great deal of difficulty trying to trace my Park Family origins.  My earliest trace with absolute certainty is only back to my great grandfather Robert Park who was born (1849) in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.  There is a strong possibility of one more generation back to a William Park and Mary (Paton) Park in Hamilton, Ontario.  Both William Park and Mary Paton were from Scotland and met and married in Ontario, Canada.

My great grandfather Robert Park, with his wife Jerusha (Joslin) Park and three children moved from Ontario to Saskatchewan, Canada and my father was born there.  My parents were married in Saskatchewan and came to Oregon on their honeymoon and stayed.

"IF" William and Mary Park were my great great grandparents, their  family moved into the Detroit, MI area.

I'm a descendant of James Parks born in Virginia abt 1791, and his second wife, Eliza Jane, and only seen in two censuses in Blackford (1850) and Delaware (1860) Counties in Indiana. He is my brick wall and has been for my family for many years. Anyone have any Parks history in Indiana? I cannot find James' first wife and family and am unable to trace him back to Virginia.

Hi everyone! My kinfolks ended up in Texas but I have traced them back to Illinois, Washington County in the 1850's. If you need help with Park, parks, that traveled to Texas, let me know!
