Susanna Berger  was my G Grandmother. Unable to identify her parents. She lived in NYC and married my G Grandfather, David Wolf in 1852 or so. Sometime around 1860 they moved to Philadelphia. They had five children, David Jr, b 1853, Catherine , b 1855, William, b 1857, Lucas, b 1860, John, b 1861. William is my Grandfather. Any information on Susanna would be appreciated.  Thank You

Oh by the way the words 'fine housewife" before Lidia's name have two lines through them in the same red ink it was printed in. I thought that might mean they weren't married and Helena could be illegitimate. But that's just my wild imagination..LOL.

I own a printed Taufschein Fraktur from 1830 or so for a Helena Barger.

It more or less says Tobias Barger and his wife Lidia nee Folk had a daughter born the 16th day of February in the year 183? This daughter was born in Greenwich Township in Berks County in the state of Pennsylvania in North America. Her name is Helena Some blank lines were not filled out but I think it says a Minister named Jarger baptized her and her sponsors are Peter Folk and his fine housewife Elisabeth. The last number of the year is all smeared out with a dirty smudge mark and a tiny hole. The taufschein was printed by Johann Ritter in Reading, PA I looked up the Folk family online years ago and Peter and Elisabeth were real people alright. As for Tobias.. I couldn't find a daughter named Helena. Maybe she died soon after she was born?

Elizabeth Barger, born July 1800 Monroe Co., VA (now West VA) married Samuel Handley abt 1823, she died after 1880 Lawrence Co., Ohio. I believe Elizabeth Barger was Christopher Barger and Mary Bear, Christopher died in Indiana.

Also Ruth Margaret Handley married John Jacob Barger, they had three children I know of Logan, Samuel Christopher, William Handley Barger,
