We are now at 1.5 names in our online database.  Cemeteries CD2 is now loaded in the members-only area.  Hopefully by the end of the year, we will have several more databases loaded at http://www.stlgs.org

We continue to add databases to our members only section. Our cemeteries databases from CD1 are now online.  In the next few weeks, we will be adding Cemetery CD2 databases to our members only section. We now have 199 databases online.

Thanks for the support at our first Trivia Night. Great response and we will tweak it for next year to make it even better.

Barbara Vines Little's lectures at the SLGS Speaker Series were well received and the society thanks all who attended. We hope you walked away with a wealth of information and new ideas to pursue in researching your Virginia ancestors.

The StLGS wishes to thank everyone that attended the "Google Your Family Tree" summer seminar. The positive response was appreciated by the hard working volunteers. Goode luck in perfecting your Google searches and finding the elusive information your are seeking. A special thanks to Ann Fleming and Barb Larson for their part in the success of the seminar.

wondering if anyone has information or pictures of the Vorwaets singing society or the Austrian ladies society. I found some information on line it said there were pictures but nothing would open up. My understanding of the group was disloved in 1981. My GGrandpa was one of the very early members joining in 1902 and I remember going to an event I think in 1964 it was a very big event where he was honored with being the oldest living member he died in 1970 at 98 yrs old. There was also a camp run by the group wonder what became of that Camp Solidarity in Pacific, MO

Any help would be wonderful by the way his name John Zay Sr
