Eller Conference - July 24-28, 2019 Wilkesboro, NC

For 30 years, the Eller Family Association has met every two years to discuss family history, make connections and socialize.

Our 2019 Conference is planned for July 24-28, 2019 in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Wilkesboro is in an area where a number of Eller families settled. A conference registration form is available here.

Erin ... what is your line down from John Eller and Susannah Kerns?

@Ruby: There is a LOT of information out there on the Wilkes County Ellers and we are distant cousins as I am also from John Ellre and Susannah Kerns! Let's share info!

My 3rd great grandmother was Mary "Polly" Eller, b. 12 jan. 1823 Wilkes Co., NC to John Eller, Jr. and Elizabeth Ray Vannoy. Polly married David Miller as his second wife on 12 March 1842 in Ashe Co., NC. She died on 3 June 1907 Ashe Co., NC.

John Eller, Jr. was the son of John Eller, Sr. and Susannah Kerns; grandson of Peter Eller and Elizabeth Dick.

I've documented 52 descendants of Andrew Eller and Mary Elizabeth Wright so far. Could probably find more if I would get back to researching this line. Right now I'm knee deep in Wayne Co., IL chasing Monroe's, Crews', Farmer's, Owen's and others - all are related to Mary Elizabeth Wright so also cousin to "my" Ellers.

Welcome Lyn and I hope you find some good information! My line is from NC so I'm afraid I cannot help you out.
