Searching for Jesse Holland Roberts b 1824 in Georgia.  M. Sarah Jane Simmons also from Georgia. 

Sarah's parents were Henry D. Simmons and Sarah Simmons also from GA.

I have 2 separate Roberts Families. On my husband's side, his great-grandfather was Joshua Roberts (m Sarah Whatley) from the Palmetto Tyrone area. He was killed in the War between the States and left Satah with 3 boys, William Allen( GG-grandfather), Thomas Joshua, and John Franklin. His father was Avery Roberts and his wife was part Indian.

On my side my great GGG-grandfather was Armstead Roberts. He married Mary D. Stephens in Jasper County GA and they ended up in the Heard County GA/Randolph County AL area with a big farm and large family. Their daughter Mary married Charles Hearn and their daughter Nancy married my G-Grandfather Charlie Formby.

Would love to find relatives in either family.

Jesse Roberts in Columbia Co Ga to Meriwether Co Ga to Ocall, Marion, Fl., where he died 11 Dec 1848. His estate proves some children, but there were a lot more. He married 1806 Columbia Co Ga Mary Fitzgerald.
sons Wiley Asbury, Irby and dtr Mildred also married Columbia. The balance except for two married Meriwether. (Mine George E B B married Mary Carolyn Virginia Cannon) Ignatious Few married Al and Augustus R married in nearby Richmond Co Ga. Ms. Gerry Hill= Albany Ga
