Am desperately seeking descendents of Albert Victor ANDERSON (born in Port Melbourne, Victoria in 1890 and his wife Martha Mary ANDERSON nee MURPHY who was born in Melbourne, Victoria in 1891. They lived in Kensington near Footscray (Melbourne) and had 6 children - John William (dec), Edith Mary, Janet May, Iris Doreen (my grandmother), Albert Victor Jnr, Lorna Peggie and Christopher (dec). Edith Mary married a DUDLEY and I dont know about the other siblings except I think they are still living around Melbourne. Can anyone please help?

Hi I am seeking Henry Burke / Birk ? who is my brick wall and lived in the Orange area of NSW, its been documented ( marriage Cert ) that Henry was born in upper Canada abt 1837 but his birth has not been found, We know he was a Sailor as his squeeze box has been handed down (along with stories of his world travels ? )
My father told me that the spelling had been changed from Birk to Burke and that Henry was of German descent, I am so confused about what is true and where to look to find where he came from, The only other hint I have is that when I had a reproduction of a photo done and enlarged there happens to be a star hanging from his watch chain which looks to be the Star of David, We have since had this confirmed by a Rabbi as being the Star of David, Henry was married 1870 in Sydney by William Bailey who had been convict and a questionable Minister of both the Roman Catholic and Church of England faiths and ran what was described as a marriage shop, Henry is buried in Church of England ground and his head stone reads that he was born in Canada, Henry also imported a steam Merry go round that he traveled with is still in use at the Sydney show, In a photograph of his wife she looks to be wearing a whale tooth
necklace ? Would anyone please have any suggestions on what they would do to try and find him as my head hurts from banging it, Cheers Ellie
