I'm sorry the reunion wasn't what you wanted. I'm part of birth family searching for a set of adopted twins. I want to share with them all my genealogy stuff and their siblings want to meet them, but I fear they will want nothing to do with us. Oh well. We can only wait and see.
No, the dead don't move around, but they sure did when they were alive!! My gggrandparents were born in Ireland and came to New York, then moved to Pennsylvania, then moved to Chicago, then back to Pennsylvania and moved several places within eastern Pennsylvania. They were quite the movers! At least all their children were born in the same place though.
I must warn you, though. This genealogy stuff can become very addictive! I started it as a hobby and now it's like my full time job, only without pay, horrible over time, and no child care lol
