Seeing the DNA kit Suzanne just posted made me wonder if there is a data base here. I know about the FTDNA one, but perhaps this group if it doesn't have one, could start one which would be easier to navigate than the FTDNA one.                 Anyway, just in case a fellow Noble has a list, here is my GEDmatch kit number: A027086

re John Preston Storey; I have my brother's Big Y, my closest match is Scott Noble!

The raw data will be downloaded today hopefully, if I can work my way through it.

This is a big challenge for a little old lady...............

Yeah, I've tried to navigate Family Tree DNA, but find it the most in-user friendly site I belong to. I have joined the Noble project with no results. Same for the other 2 projects I belong to. I have uploaded my results to Gedmatch which compares results from numerous DNA labs, and lots and lots of matches, but no way to search by surname that I can find. Have had a bit of luck with Ancestry also, but not on my Noble side. Stumped by my Irish ancestors.

There are quite a few dna groups but most are for specific surnames! Most people who have gone through FamilyTreeDna have used there y-search or joined a project - there is a Noble project there! Not sure what Ancestry or any of the others have!

John, is there a data base on this site to enter and compare our DNA?

My previous post should have read to JAMES Thomas Noble.

Sorry for the confusion

It is nice to see so much activity in the group - it was dormant for so long. I know there are 4 of us who have done the y-111 test. I have a genetic distance of 3 with James Thomas and Raymond Arnold and 7 with Thomas Raymond. Has anyone done the autosomal DNA test  - I had that done last fall. Just last month I had a another SNP test done for Z-198 and I tested positive on that one. I plan to have further ones done later this year.
