Mahala Maude Bolter christened on 23 May 1875 at Little Cheverell.
1871 census has her parents living in Little Cheverell with one child, Frank.
1891 census has Mahala living with her parents, brother and maternal grandmother, Betsy Ingram at Durlett Rd, Rowde, Devizes.
From the 1891 records I have found this information:
Charles Bolter, market gardener, b1839 in Little Cheverell.
Mary Jane Bolter, née Ingram, market gardener, b1846/1847 in Tilshead, Wiltshire.
Frank Bolter, b1871 in Little Cheverell.
Mahala Maude Bolter, aged 16
Betsy Ingram, mother in law, a widow, aged 71,born 1820.
There is a grave (00020) at a church in Potterne with Mary Jane and her parents.
As my Caroline Bolter, gg grandmother, was married in Little Cheverell in 1876 I expect there to be a family link with your Bolter but I haven't looked yet. I hope this gives you something to move your research forward but please ask if you have any queries and I will share anything I find. Do you have any photos of Mahala or her English family? Fiona
