Hi, Did you mean Oberkirken or Oberkirchen? I can do research in the Oberkirchen area.

Thanks, that would be great. I am looking for Oberkirchen but have been told there is more than one. I am looking for a Peter Klein born 1832 married a Catherine Muller/Miller about 1868-9. She may have been married previously to Jacob Klein 1829-

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, it is over an hours drive for me to reach the one in the Pfalz.  Plus when I say I can do research there, means I will have to find out where the records are located and such.  Also many of these places in German charge money for copies of the records.

You may want to check out what FamilySearch has first as they will be cheaper. 

Check out film numbers 549633 & 549634.  If your family is from the one in the Pfalz, you will probably find them there.
