My earliest Healy is James Alfred born 1869 at Tarragulla Vic Aust to Patrick Healy and Mary O'Connor. He married Elizabeth Starr in 1900 at Tibooburra NSW Aust. I have not followed up on the immigration of the parents into Victoria yet. James and Elizabeth had moved to Orange by 1909 and were there until his death in 1956.

Hi, Ellen, Nice to meet you. I'm not certain where my Healys were from in Ireland, but from all of the other families they married in to, those came from Roscommon and Cavan. So I don't think we are related. But you never know!

My GG Grandmother was born Joanna Healy or Haley.  I am not 100% sure as I have seen records with both spellings.  She was married in the parish of Annakissy in Cork County.

We are still the only Healy's here, so strange as there are thousands of them lol

Hope 2011 will be a great year for you

Both only give country- Ireland and Germany. No documents I have found so far say anything else, such as village or townland or parish, or anything! And of course, in 1920, after WWI, my German Bansemer family said they were from Pennsylvania, USA! Ha!

Where were they from the McFadden's and Bansemers?

No, I haven't had much success lately, but I haven't been working on the Healys too much. I'm trying to find more about my McFaddens and Bansemers. Finding a lot of brick walls, though! :-)
