So, I don't know if I have anything, but my great-grandmother (on my grandmother's side) was Margaret Ruth Batchelder and was married to Ray Fred Shaw.  Anything before that, I'm unsure of.

Hi - I am interested in looking at Batchelder and Drake families.

I am a Drake. One of my good friends is a Batchelder. It was pointed out by a relative that these families intersected in Hampton, NH.

Sarah Drake (20 April 1720) married a Batchelder

Abagail Dearborn - daughter of Samuel Dearborn and Mercy Batchelder born 31 Oct 1720 - married Abraham Drake

Sarah Elizabeth Elkins - daughter of David Elkins and Mary Batchelder born 28 May 1843 - married Fabyan Pickering Drake.

I am the grand-daughter of Fabyan Pickering Drake's grand-daughter, Dorothy Goodwin Drake and thanks to my family have history back to the 1300's on the drakes.

My friend's Batchelder family is from VT...so not that far away from Hampton, NH.

I am also a 11th descendant of Rev. Stephen Batchelder, my line follows:

Nathaniel Bathchelder

Nathaniel Batchelder

Benjamin Bathchelder

Susannah Batchelder and Ebenezer Webster

Susan Webster and Lt. Andrew Bohonon

Mary Polly Bohonon and James Taylor

Rufus Taylor and Amanda Post

Mary Electa Taylor and Jeremiah Henry Norton

Blanche Amanda Norton and Hiram Freeland Pickett

Fred Arthur Pickett and Phoebe Ann Wickware (my grandparents.)

Susan Webster and Ebenezer were brother and Sister, Col. Ebenezer Webster's son was Daniel Webster, So the famous Daniel Webster would be a distant cousin of mine.

I just joined the DAR on my fifth Great Grandfather, While doing research I have found over 16 great grandparents that served in the REV. War that are related to me.

Anthony Taylor and Rev. Stephen Batchelder were both founders of Hampton, New Hampshire

Just want to say hi to all my distant cousins??

Hello! My husband is a descendant of Stephen Batchelder and I have been working on his family tree for quite a while. The connection is from his paternal grandmother. He is actually descended twice through two children of Nathaniel Batchelder and Deborah Smith (Stephen Batchelder and Mary Dearborn, and Nathaniel Batchelder III and Elizabeth Foss)

1. Stephen Batchelder and Ann Bate
2.Nathaniel Batchelder and Hester Mercer
3.Nathaniel Batchelder and Deborah Smith
4. Stephen Batchelder and Mary Dearborn
5.John Batchelder and Elizatbeth Moulton
6.Josiah Batchelder and Abigail Cotton
7.Edward Chapman Batchelder and Nancy Philbrick
8.David Philbrick Batchelder and Betsey Carter
9.Albert Atkinson Batchleder and Sarah Francis Blodgett
10.Wilfred Herbert Batchelder Sr and Ruth G Smith
11.Margaret Ruth Batchelder and Ray Fred Shaw ( hubby's grandparents)

The second connection:
1.Stephen Batchelder and Ann Bate
2.Nathaniel Batchelder and Hester Mercer
3.Nathaniel Batchelder and Deborah Smith
4.Nathaniel Batchelder III and Elizabeth Foss
5.John Batchelder and Abigail Cram
6.Abigail Batchelder and Caleb Shaw
7.Elijah Shaw,Sr and Sarah Batchelder
8.Abigial Cotton Shaw and Julius Caesar Blodgett
9.Sarah Francis Blodgett and Albert Atkinson Batchelder
10Wilfred Herbert Batchelder,Sr and Ruth G Smith
11.Margaret Ruth Batchelder and Ray Fred Shaw (hubby's grandparents)

This makes my husband and his father also distant cousins!!!!!

To the best of my knowledge Rev. Bachiler (Batchelder) (1561-1656) is my 10x Great-Grandfather.

His daughter Theodate (thank goodness some family names didn't survive) married Christopher HUSSEY (1598-1686)

Her daughter Mary HUSSEY (1638-1733) married Thomas PAGE (1639-1686)

Her son Christopher PAGE (1670-1751) married Abigail TILTON (1670-1759)

His son Jeremiah PAGE (1708-1786) married Elizabeth DRAKE (1711-)

His son Jeremiah PAGE (1738-1807) married Lydia PHILBRICK (1748-1840)

His son John PAGE (1779-1871) married Hulday LOCKE (1783-1849)

His son John PAGE (1816-1874) married Mahala LANE (1822-1893)

His son Martin Van Buren PAGE (1840-1926) married Sara Elizabeth Switzer (1841-1924)

His daughter Blanche Annette PAGE (1867-1962) married Charles Henry RAMPTON (1868-1926)

His daughter Edna Elizabeth RAMPTON (1900-1995) married Kenneth Wellman VAN WIG (1898-1986)

Edna and Kenneth VAN WIG were my maternal grandparents.
