I sure hope so Shirley and if not then I know that the inscriptions will now be seen forever either via internet or book. I'm sure someone will write them down. The cemetery I just started had 30 names listed, now has 103 and still adding and have my photoing to do when I am in the area again and will finish it on that day. I've placed my own family website on hold and not doing enough on Ancestry, which isn't good. So much I want to do, so little of me. It is a cooler and rainy day today. Take care, time for FAG. I did go to that small cemetery and photoed at least 1/2 of it. That took 3 hrs because I write down what the older stones state since most of the time they can't be read on a photo. I think it is the oldest in the area since ppl where buried in 1700's. I have more than doubled the name listings so far and found a lot of loose ends for ppl and missing members. Also filled a request. There is another request but I believe the stone is now gone. I believe I have his wife's. South Middleboro Cemetery, Middleboro, Plymouth, Mass. And I found a couple of my direct family there so I have to see how they tie in on Ancestry. Haven't looked, yet. Hope you are having a great wkend. Spirit
Yep, July was very hot. I got out a little bit. Been pretty much under the weather. I am listing pics on FAG now. Added over 100 to one cemetery and still working on it. I may go to another, much smaller one, tomorrow. I didn't catch the name of it so I can't check to see if it was already done or not. Hope not. When you take pics with your camera use the smallest pixal size you can, some cameras say vga or vega. You can use a free site, picnik.com to downsize, crop and fix the colors. Glad you got use out of FAG and now you are loading onto it. We need all the help we can get. I have over 200 requests but my daughter totaled the truck a couple of days bef Christmas so I have no car at this time. Lucky she wasn't hurt or killed, it was a serious accident. Enjoy your new hobby.
Try picnik.com, it is 100% free, to try to resize your pics. I use it to make pics smaller. See how it works out to make them bigger. It helps a lot with the color too.
I don't know about that. The Baker lineage is so difficult that serious genealogists are having DNA done, apx $350 a pop. I don't have a male in the line to have the test done and I am stuck 1800's on only my 4th generation.
All I know is my GGG Grandfather was born in NY, or so it appears, and was killed aft being a POW for a couple of months in Virginia during the Civil War. Appears he had one son and 2 wives, once divorced aft a forced marriage.

Hi Shirley,
I'm a volunteer for FindAGrave that is how I knew how to find him. I looked on FindAGrave in England and America for the other members you had listed but couldn't find them.
Another way you may find them is through this link: http://www.magravestones.org
This is a Massachusetts link but they have them for all the states. I haven't been an active volunteer for this site because sadly it takes longer to upload each person and they are very rigid with photos and more.
I wish you the best. I have 2 large brickwalls myself. My maternal and paternal ggg grandfather's.
Sincerely,
Spirit

Oh dear, sorry are you saying you paid ancestry and it was a bad move?
You then got locked out of hotmail?
