I am also seeking information on the "Shoemaker" family from Columbiana County, Ohio. My Great Grandmother was Alice Ann Shoemaker, born abt 1834 in or around Unity, Columbiana County, Ohio. Maybe we have a connection?

Thank you Deborah

All of NC was full of Blevins, especially Buncomb & Ashe Co's, as are counties in N E TN. Hardin & family reportedly went into TN via flatbed boat singing, dancing & drinking. His brother David was supposedly much more reserved. I love that story. One thing for sure, the Blevins enjoy good long lives. A daughter of David Crockett Blevins, brother of Ruth Jane, lived to 101.

Betty Jo, Who is you earliest known Blevins ancestor? Mine is William born1700

I have photos of Ruth , my Dad's grandother. Am excited to connect with you. Hope to hear from you. Should you want to contact me direct, email dee.carroll@sbcglobal.net. Thanks.
