In Cook County I am reasearching Weber, Thalhofer, Gohringer, Geismeier.

In McLean/DeWitt Counties I am researching Foster/Clark (Foster widow married a Clark and was widowed again, but sons in the family are Fosters and a Clark).

Reed in Bureau County

The Foster/Clark family is related to the Briggs families in Montgomery County. All came to Illinois from Muskingum County, Ohio.
I am researching the SCHUH family of Wabash County:
PHILLIP SCHUH (immigrated from Germany), who married MISSOURI ANN DOUGLAS,
CARL & MARIE SCHUH (supposedly immigrated from Germany in 1885, but records are non-existent); they are the parents of KATIE SCHUH BROSTER and PHILIP SCHUH JR.

Katie married HOMER BROSTER of Edwards County, the son of THOMAS BROSTER & ELIZABETH ANN DUKES.

I am also researching the WILLIAMS family of Clay County, GUILFORD WILLIAMS & ANISE LEONARD WILLIAMS.
Anise's mother was MARY ANN MINARD, married three times to ROBERT ABLE MEAD, JOSEPH HERDES, & WILIAM LEONARD.

I am researching GARWICK; Carroll Co.

They arrived there in the 1850's and I would love to find some Naturalization records someplace. They were a family with 6 sons.

I am research my Cohoon. Lamar, Clack and McNear families in Central IL and Southern IL.
Um... I need to be awake when I type...lol..Clack should be Clark....oh I will hear about that from some of the family if I do that out side of here.

Researching Cook Co., CHICAGO.  KARKUTT and BECKMANN  are the primary names I'm looking for in the time period of 1880- 1930.

My great grandparents, Louise and Christian KARKUTT live on Otto St from 1880s through 1909 when Christian died and Louise lived there until sometime in the 1920s when she moved to ARLINGTON HEIGHTS Lutheran Home for the Aged.  She died in 1930--but death record is very sketchy.  Anyone in Arlington Heights who could pursue this?  Christian and other family members were buried in ST LUKES CEMETERY in CHICAGO, but don't know where Louise is.  I would certainly appreciate help on connecting.  Thanks in advance.

I am researching BRIDGES, LAIR, VANCE families from Macoupin Co
I am researching Vermilion County, specifically the areas of Danville and Catlin., because my ancestors lived there working the coal mines. The family names I am researching are Jones and Thomas and the various in-laws of those families. I live in Texas and have found a lot of information but still need more to fill in the gaps of the written family history. The Thomas brothers John and Thomas arrived in Vermilion County sometime in the mid to late 1850's to 1860's.It is said that they purchased their own mine there; I have no proof. Specifically I am looking for my great great grandfather John D. Jones in Vermilion County. I have his marriage dates for his two wives, yet I have no death information for him. Help!

Hello.   I am researching several families.   Some of these names are Babbs, Guymon, Johnson, McKee, Bartimus, and Phillips.     I am researching in Coles, Cumberland, Clark, Edgar, Effingham, and Vermilion mostly.   However, I am near Macon, Champaign, Douglas, and all of the above if anyone needs help looking things up.   I live in Coles County :)

I'm Researching McDonald, Franks, Rogders, Turner, Butler, Schauf  (Edwards, White & Wabash counties)

Vernon McDonald Born 1904 in Maunie, White Co, IL the son of Charles McDonald and Cynthia Franks. The family was told the McDonalds immigrated from Scottland but cannot find any information to back it up. I'm stuck at Charles McDonald.

Donald W Butler son of Frank Lewis Butler Born:1887 in Wabash Co.  & Mary Elizabeth Schauf 1891(she immigrated from Germany)

I am researching for more information on William J. STEPHENS. He was born February 13, 1850 and married to Anna RUSSELL in 1870. I found William in the 1860 cenus. He was living with the VAUGHAN/VAUGHN family. William died, I believe sometime after 1894. Anna moved all her children to Lawrence County, Indiana by 1900 census.

Who are William's parents? If the 1880 census is correct, his dad was born in Pennsylvania and his mom was born in Ohio.

I have RUSSELL ancestors that lived in Hancock County, Illinois in the 1870 census. William G. RUSSELL and family lived in Hancock County, IL in 1870 and in 1860 they lived in Hamilton County, Ohio and in the 1880 census they moved to White County, IL. William's daughter Anna RUSSELL married William J. STEPHENS on February 13, 1870 possibly Hancock County or Henderson County. They lived in Henderson County in the 1870 and 1880 census.

I'm also researching KLEYSTEUBER and HEINRICH from Clinton County, Illinois.
