Fantastic map Alberto.  My maternal family of Quinns came from County Wexford (Enniscorthy) so I was particularly interested in checking it out.  Obviously Quinns originated elsewhere in earlier times but we have no information on this family at all other than what I found in the 1901/1911 Census.  My mother didn't ever get to meet her grandparents but did recall a few things when I shared my findings which clinched it for me.

My Father in Law just passed away in Dec. His DNA was completed just after his death, His name is Arthur Clarence Woods and his 2nd great grandad was William Woods born abt 1786 in Donaghmore, Tyrone, , Ireland. Looking for others who have had Woods Family DNA from that area in Ireland. Thanks

Wow Alberto, never thought of that. I can't figure out how to use Google Maps. I don't think it is loading right into my confuser or I'm picking out the wrong link and no one to help me.

@Alberto, that is the problem with William Armstrong. I can't find who his parents are, yr of birth, where and when he arrived. A huge brick wall. I know his family after, wife, children, lived in Rhode Island.

Reference the HANLEY Family, there are some in Dalhousie, N.B. Parents were there in early 1900's for sure...deceased probably by now...Joey Hanley is now probably living in the Miramichi, New Brunswick area...in Canada.  Just a thought for you.

@Alberto, thanks for the Ireland link. I placed my family surname in there and it states only 140 births but I can't find info on my gg grandfather. It states: Principally located in counties:Antrim, Fermanagh, Cavan and Tyrone. His name is William Armstrong and used Wm Armstrong. I bet 100 Armstrong's came to America and 3/4 where Wm Armstrong. Any ideas?

@Barbara, too bad my friend's sister doesn't do genealogy. They are O'Brien/McCarthy's and I'm pretty sure they have Harrington in their lineage. They where born on Bell Island, Newfoundland, Canada. If I remember correctly it was 3 generations back that went to Ireland before Canada. I know they have a cousin on Ancestry who lives in Canada working on the line but I don't know who.
