Hi - My Moores are also Upcountry SC, but did not live in the Dark Corner area. The GenWeb sites for Anderson and Greenville counties have some excellent resources that might be of help. Greenville has some wonderful online databases of documents, etc. - the Greenville County government has put digitized images of some of the old documents up, and the Greenville Library has an obituary lookup that is very helpful.
