Genealogy Wise

The Genealogy & Family History Social Network

I just wanted to let people know a couple of things in case some don't already know:

1) ebay has tons of old family bibles, most are listed with family surnames that can be found in them. There's also alot of genealogy for sale on there, such as CD's compiled from many  state or county or even town books. There are older history and genealogy reference books, etc. If you've never looked it might be worth taking a look. There are also lots of old photos.

2) there's a paperback swap online for your reading books you'd like to trade for a new one (including genealogy books!)  and they have sister sites for swapping CD's & DVD'd. All it costs is the postage and media mail is pretty cheap.as is first class.

Lisa, thanks for this info. I shop on ebay all the time but never thought to check for genealogy materials.
