On the first question about the Adams line, no, not yet. It has been a story passed down from my grandpa etc. As to the second question where I fit in, well, here goes!

Sarah Swartwout & William Coster Custard had a daughter Jannat Custard born 1 May, 1752 in Walpack, Sussex, NJ and died 7 Oct, 1850 in Cadiz, Jefferson, OH. Her husband was Jorris (George) Brokaw born 29 March, 1755 in Raritan, Somerset, NJ and died in New Athens, Harrison, OH

their son

Abraham Brokaw born 8 May, 1778 in Somerset Co., NJ and died 1865 in Galion, Crawford, OH. His wife was Margaret Scott born 1780 in Somerset, NJ and died 17 July, 1876 in Galion, OH.

their daughter

Mary P. Brokaw born 1814 in , Harrison, OH and died 13 April, 1880 in Galion, OH. Her husband was John Morrison born 22 Feb, 1809 in Somerset, PA and died 7 Nov, 1885 in Galion, OH.

their daughter

Margaret Elizabeth Morrison born 1 Oct, 1835 in Galion, OH and died 18 Oct, 1918 in Cadmus, Linn, Kansas. Her husband was Harrison Knisely Traul born 26 Feb, 1834 in New Philadelphia, Tuscarawas, OH and died 22 Oct, 1888 (of typhoid) in Cadmus, Linn, Kansas.

their daughter

Mary Alice Traul born 1871 in Galion, OH and died 1957 in Cadmus, KS. Her husband was William Andrew Walters born 1864 in Cadmus, KS and died 1945 in Osawatomie, Miami, KS.

their son

Robert Clarence Walters born 1913 in Fall River, Greenwood, KS and died 1987 in Kansas City, Missouri. His wife was Dorothy Belle Davidson born 1920 in Yates Center, Woodson, KS and died 1981 in Osawatomie, Miami, KS.

their daughter (my mom)

Laura Jennifer Walters married Donald Harlan Coleman in 1969 and I was born in 1970.
NOTE: The Morrison line is how I am related to John Wayne AKA Marion Morrison.

their daughter
