I'll have to get my aunt on this and compare what you and matthew wolfgang have to what we have relating to the Himes, and Hime and Heim family name. I did have a family scroll research done and it came back with a family crest for the Himes family name stating that the roots are able to be traced back to the 1100's in england it does mention that there are different spellings of the names on the scroll description that i got such as Heim, Heimz ,Hines, Hime and Haim there were a few other name spellings mentioned but at the moment i cannot think of them i would love to share what I have and put you both in touch with my aunt if interested.
