I am planning a research trip to Sacramento in late March and I am trying to get a grip on my schedule and what types of records are available. My gr-grandmother was murdered in Sacramento in 1937. I was wondering if you had any pointers.
Hi from another Kiessling descendant. My Keislings are from northeast Pennsylvania, arriving much later than yours. My gggps went to Scranton about 1882 from Untergröningen, Wuerttemberg, via New York.
Could Keisling be another spelling for Kieseler? I am looking for Ida Caroline Auguste Kieseler born 17 Nov 1865 in Billwaider on the Bille. She died at the age of 27 of the "Plague" on 2 Oct 1892 in Hamburg.
