Many families heading west stoped in Ashtabula. Its right on Lake Erie and provides a water source. I've been there.
There used to be a great basketball player back in the late 40's early 50's by the name of Frank "Pep" Saul. I beleive he played college ball at Seton Hall in NYC.
Debbie, I am not closely related to Loyd. I do know of him however, but dont beleive I can contribute and proven information. My info say hes son of Ebeneezer and Betsy but not proven.
I found it on Family Search, com, printed it, and now I can not find it again!! We went to Wayne county court house, it had the wrong page, so we searched thru marriage books,, it was very cool,,
