My grandmother, Lillian Marie Scales was born in Winslow, Pike County, Indiana 14 June 1894, to Viola Mayberry Scales and William Elijah Scales. My great greats were Thomas Jackson "Hickory" Scales and his wife, Julia DePriest Scales. Thomas and Julia were both buried in Log Creek Cemetery, just outside of Scalesville, Indiana. Any information on any of these would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hi! My great great grandma Millie Grace Smith was born in Pike County in 1888 to John Hurst Smith and Theresa Angeline Craig Smith. I have plenty of pictures of John Hurst Smith and his wife, but have none of Millie Grace. Does anyone out there have photos of this family?
Hello! My great great grandma Millie Grace Smith born 1888 in Pike County to John Hurst Smith and Theresa Angeline Craig Smith married Samuel Ottis Coleman born 10 March, 1888 in Pakota, Pike, IN to Sylvester Coleman and Melissa Hayden Coleman. If anyone out there is related and has photos of any of these people, I would really love a copy!! Thanks! (By the way, all these folks moved to Elm, Johnson, Missouri.)
Hi! My ggg grandma Melissa Hayden, born 24 Oct, 1852 in Pike County. Her dad was William Henry Hayden of CT and her mom was Harriet Minor born 1835 but I don't know where. This lady is a bit of a brick wall for me. Her dad is Sinclair/St.Clair Minor born 1807 don't know where, and her mom is Matilda born about 1807 I don't know where. Does anyone have info on this family? If so, please share!! Thanks!

I know my great grandparents were married in Pike County...the bride was from the area.

James and Vercie (Heacock) Sargent

married May 13, 1903

What makes this date special is ...my daughter was born on this day in the 70's.
