The WFT I have seen associated with dates of birth or death and the brackets are usually around the place of births or deaths.

I have vague guesses and have looke all over but don't know for sure what they mean.

TIA

When you see brackets around items, it often means that the information is assumed, not known as fact. For example: when you see a census extraction with the year of birth in brackets, it means that the year of birth is approximate, based on the age given for that person on the census record. However, the brackets may not mean the same thing in every context.

I'm not sure about WFT, ABT would be about.
