I found my gt grandfather John Jones born Ireland 21 June 1873, to Thomas & Kate Jones, Cork Ireland. in the ww1 draft registration 1918 living in McKeesport PA.

Good afternoon, Monica-
I think I see 'Erliss'? Jones listed as his closest relative? Does that make sense?
Its Ellen Jones his wife, she & he 4 sons remained in Ireland, until I found his entry in to Boston in 1911 giving her as next of kin 4 years ago and now this record only yesterday we always thought that he abandoned them, thats the story she told her sons, but the address on the draft card is the home she moved to years after he left proving that they were in contact.

Great! Congratualtions! On my FIL's side, all we have to go by is stories, my FIL got one story, his brother got another story, and it turns out to be a combination of the two, plus a lot of storytelling. :)
Hi Monica,
Have you already worked through the Irish Connection. I live in Ireland and if you need help let me know.
Margaret
Thank Margaret,

The family still live in Cork, its the US where the mystery lies.

Monica
Thanks Gj
Would that company be based in McKeesport PA,

Hi GJ

You are a treasure, my mother has been here with me tonight, reading over all the information you have posted, I can't thank you enough for your help, will start chasing down all these leads, I can feel John Jones getting closer, when I find him, not if anymore (I hope) my mam & me will be over to visit his grave.
Thank you again GJ
