I am not sure about the Proffit connection.  I am descended from that HALL line from Masias HALL and Unisiah BRANHAM-SMITH.  Do you have pics of them the PROFITTS

i have to ask because the resemblance is knock down striking....are you related to Homer Profitt?

You look like him and his late son David.  Homer's mother's name was Cleo, father George.

Knew them well, but not Cleo's last name. Its her side you look just like.

Homer died very young, was married to my mother's older sister, Euretta.

BTW.... you do know, I suppose,  the Hall line traces to 1700s Scotland,  and the immigrant Hall, both his wife and mother were born surname Primrose.  The Primrose line goes back to the Stone Age practically
