Originator and WikiTree project coordinator of Chronicles of New France, George is a tenacious researcher with a deep appreciation of heritage and history. Soon after joining the WikiTree he conceived the project to produce a concise chronology of contemporary events and personalities revealing the historical contexts that shaped and influenced his early Acadian ancestors' lives. He soon realized the history of Acadia, although unique, can only be understood in the context of the shared history of the entire new world settlements of New France.

His initial intention in this endeavor was to understand the local and global culture that shaped his Acadian ancestors lives, but soon realized their history, although unique, can only be understood in the context of the shared history of the entire new world settlements of New France.
