Hi Donna! Thank you for your interest in the Washington Family Cemetery. It can be found on FindaGrave, at this link

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2229165&CScn=Washington+Family+Cemetery&CScntry=4&

The photographer was able to get me in touch with the current land owner, and she was able to provide quite a few more photos, so if want more information, please let me know. Our ancestor was "given" the name of George Washington by Cl. Fremont on his last expedition. I had sort of given up trying to locate him, just because it's impossible to research George Washington without tearing out all my hair! This find was wonderful for my genealogy purposes because it cemented the land that he owned at that time, correlated perfectly with the description of the property found in the Indian Pioneer Papers, and best of all, the homeowner found the name Neetamooqua engraved on the bottom of a fallen portion of the headstone. It is spelled differently than we had been told ... "Nehtiemaquah". Let me know if you have any questions

Heh

Thanks for your response. I am researching Rebecca Crail Atkinson who married George Atkinson. She was born in Maryland? and resided most of her life in Decatur County, Indiana, before moving with her son William Atkinson to Iowa where she died. There was another Crail (spelled differently) in Decatur County, Indiana, but she is not listed as their child. I would like to know the name of her father, mother, etc; Thanks.
