For what reason did you start genealogy research?
I was adopted and there had been rumors between my original family and adopted that there was another child born to my original mother who was adopted out. Also that my adopted family was actually part of my original family. Then my adopted family couldn't locate where their Jacob Garver came from. They were holding family reunion but no answers as to where he came from. I ordered a book from Indiana library where I found both families in same book. I have two websites on tribalpages.com Jacob Garver Tree and the other is Crubaugh

I am a Garver descendent, born in Illinois and now in Texas. My Garver family moved form PA to Macon County, Illinois in the mid-1850's. Would love to chat with you and see if our lines connect. My mother was adopted also, so I understand how challenging the research can be! I also started a Garver group here.
