Scott, I am from MO originally, and my ancestors lived there from the 1800's on. As you know the originated in VA, and then mine moved on to MO. The Matthias House family spread out to KY, OH, TN, as well as other places. I've been doing family research since the early 80's. The first time I went in search of info, I found the microfilm account of Adam House's service in the Rev. War. After much research I presented his name to and joined the DAR.
