Hi Chastity, sorry to take so long to get back with you I noticed you left a message on JUly I have read the news letters but when I try to contact anyone I get message to join. So here I am today, I am still learning how to use this group. How have you been? Did I tell you my surnames? I saw Lejuness when I tried to go to the google page I have a Lejune in my family tree and wanted to get in touch with the gentleman to see if we were distantly related but oh well!!!!!

Thanks for answering Chasity.. I forgot to say originally that my Louis Cooper came to Texas from North Carolina. Unsure when but the last sighting of him was on the 1867 Voter Rolls in Grimes County.
I would be honored to to be related and there is a lot of German in my tree too. And I would be more honored to be related to Michael if he would sign a contract.
LOL
Thank you Chastity for the welcome. Are you in any way connected to our list of families or just out there? I not real sure how this program is going to work yet.

Sure no problem; the Young's have a big family and we are still researching and we are in the process of searching - Trails of Tears hope you may have information to share.
Good deal Chastity. My email is Lhasapoo@yahoo.com or if you ever need to leave me a message here you can. You have to be careful around my Jones side mentioning famous people. They will claim them in a minute whether we are related to them or not.
Just occurred to me that I think we are supposed to have other relatives living in TX but I don't know if they are still living and don't remember where they lived. My dad's older sister gave me their names back in the late 80s early 90s when I first started on this. I never contacted them or tried to look them up because 1) my aunt was prone to telling large tales about who we were related to and 2) that was when I just started, long before figuring out that working some of the possible side branches could lead you back to the main branch. Will have to dig her letters to me back out and see if I can find that information.
Hopefully, this forum can help a lot of us connect to people that can assist us that we would not have come in contact with through the many other forums.
Thanks for commenting on my pic. If you do not know the history of Forest Park, you might be interested in the history by doing a Google. The most famous event it is famous for is the 1904 World's Fair that was held there. It also has one of the best zoo's in the US, Muny Opera, & Art Museum, just to name a few things that are located there.
Hi Chasity . This pic was taken In Forest Park, St. Louis, MO. I am pointing to my personalized brick that was installed in spring 2009. You can purchase a brick & the money goes to "Forest Park Forever". My brick says "Eternal Roots, 7 generations, Cherie Leeser". It is so neat to read what others have put on their bricks. Such a lot of history there.
I'm actually looking for Copper, but if I find any Coopers in Texas I'll let you know! Thanks for the welcome. Looks like you have a little one at home!!
