I haven't many in Wiltshire. So will decline, thanks but it has given me inspiration to start one of my own for a geographical area.

Hi Margaret,

Thanks for the invite. I have a bunch of SAINSBURY and CLELFORD ancestors on my tree at Ancestry.co.uk, plus many, many more old Wiltshire families. Happy to help folks looking for these.

I'd also like to offer a cheque for £1 million to anyone who can find my suspected father, Christopher Henry Lodge Thomas, b.21 Oct 1909 in West Lavington. He is on the 1911 Census at my Great Grandfather Archibald Wm Phillips, but NOTHING from there on. He may have become a Phillips, or may have changed his name entirely. As I said, I'd LIKE to offer a cheque...

I'm happy to go with a 'No Find - No Fee' detective agency, if anyone can suggest one, but either way the finder will get a mention in the book I am writing on my search.

On the Tarrant side, I can't get beyond my 2nd great grandfather who was born in 1818 someplace in Kentucky. My husband's Goddard's were German.
