John Jefferson Hutton's father was Amon MacDonald Hutton who married Mary Adeline Maxwell. Amon Hutton's father was John Hutton. One of Amon's brothers was William Andrew Hutton & they were born in and lived in Washington Co. Virginia. John Hutton's Father was Edward Hutton and his mother was Frances Hayter Hutton. John Hutton migrated to Missouri about 1837 where he acquired property in Gasconade County before he went to St. Clair County.

What part of the Hutton family are you researching? my grandfather Vardry Hutton was born in Vienna, St Clair, Mo. in 1866. His father John Jefferson Hutton was born MO. in 1845.
