Hi Luanne, I have in my family Robert Merritt wife Phoebe Birdsell. They had Abraham Merritt. This Abraham married Charlotte Sarah Worden, then Clarissa Worden. Is this your family?

Nice picture. I answered my own question. I see you indeed are from Ontario Canada. I have a ancestor who was a Tory and the went to Canada to live. Burgess Hall Sr. and his wife Eunice Whithead Hall. I think she died in Canada and he returned to the US and was put on trail at Bennington, Vermont
