Sharon did you try to find my tree on ancestry.com ? It's public so you be able to view it. Both of my Attaway lines are documented relatively well. Carl's father was Albert Fletcher Attaway from Elbert Co. Ga.

Hi Sharon -
My GF was Carl Attaway (1902-1963). His Attaway family settled in the Elbert Co Ga area (NE Ga) in the 1800s.

I also have an Attaway line on my paternal side. They lived in Burke Co. Ga in the 1800's. I know almost nothing about them.

I have a tree at Ancestry.com you can look at The Matthew Collins Tree.

I would love to find an Attaway cousin to provide a DNA sample. I have a few out there somewhere but I don't know them. If I ever meet them I will ask for DNA.
