John J. Tierney's Comments

Hi John, I am researching a Mary Tierney who left Ireland Between 1840 - 1850 with her husband John Martin.I have seen her maiden written as both Tierney and McTiernan. Do you know much anout which counties Tierney's were apt to come from? I have looked for her husband's naturalization papers but there are several John Martin's naturalized about that time here in Ma and there are not enough identifiers to determine which is his. Actually the one I susoect is his on the index roll, the actual papers went missing at the Natural Archives. Very frustrating to think they might be in someone's scrapbook.
