Hi Zoe! Thank you for the comment! Unfortunatly no we are not related. My Boone family was still in Belgium until the early 1890's. My great grandparents came over in 1894 and settled in Norway,Dickinson Co.,MI.

No, I don't think my Boone's are related. The first one John William Boone came from Indiana right after the Civil War and settled in Wise County. In the early ninteen hundreds he moved to Kimble County and died there in 1935.

I haven't been able to find much. You probably already have this info.
Found a birth record for William, with his parents' names. Not sure it's the same one. Go here http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=/eng/search/ancestorsearchresults.asp
I've found Uretta spelled as Uritta, living in Yellowstone, Montana in 1910; I've found her mother's maiden name (Brunson). 1930 Census shows her living in Tuolumne, CA - other person in household Louis Murry, age 69.
I'll keep an eye out as I'm looking for other things. Sorry I haven't been more help.

Hi Zoe,

I am not yet sure whether I have any Marble's in my family tree. An Ephraim Marble married a Leanna Davison in the early 1800's and they settled in Gurensey County, Ohio. I have been trying to determine whether Leanna is a sister of my third great grandfather, George Davison, but no luck yet. If this is true, then this would be my Marble connection. Ephraim was a native of Pennsylvania. His father, Nathan, came from Brownsville, PA and eventually settled in Rising Sun, Indiana. I have not researched this Marble family line any further. Sorry.

The Marbles in my family started in Massachusetts, went to New York, then Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, then Utah. My grandfather always insisted we were related to every Marble in the country, though, so who knows? ;) If you need any help, let me know. I'll do what I can.

Regards,

Kyle
