I looked up your Robert J. Sanders in th 1880 census. Looks like they were recently married. I also checked the Missouri State Census Collection; found only two Robert _ Sanders in that collection; both were recorded in the 1876 collection and neither were at Lafayette County. In the census of 1880 your Robert was reported a farmer. Immediately below your Robert at 1880 is the family of Lewis Sanders, ae 79, a farmer b. KY.
Would you mind setting your Robert J. Sanders up as a discussion topic on the Most Wanted group? That way others can respond directly to you. Unless you've ruled out that Lewis Sanders, good change we can give you some good leads on this one. Let me know, will you? --GJ
