Greetings from wet, windy, rather cool southern California. Tree limbs down and trees down and debris all over.
Home Depots garden area looked like a disaster zone. People were afraid to park near a tree the way they were whipping around near Starbucks. All the trees at Home Depot were down and rolling in the street or laying on their sides.

We need the rain but we sure lost a lot to run off, so heavy, so fast and ground so dry. By this evening winds are flying around yet but rain has backed way off to shower here and there.

My fall tree ( texas umbrella) lost it's yellow gold leaves and ground looks like lemon now. Tree looks wintery,
trunk and bare limbs with a few new limbs showing.

It definitely reminds you that winter is here and the days will soon start to get longer and stay light later.
Fall is on it's way out the door. I love winter and miss the real change in seasons. I like a bite in the air and enjoy a bit of sun here and there. I miss more than many other things a fireplace to crackle and burn and being able to curl up near it and read a book and munch a crisp apple. I have all but the fireplace. boo hoo.

May your season be merry and you take the good of the day with you and leave the rest behind.

God will not give you more than you can handle, if so your not giving it to God and I have to say that many times a day sometimes.

I love the story of the man who leaves his worries on the tree outside his door at night. If I could apply that
my life would be full. Blessed Merry Christmas Greetings to one and all.
