What's New?

I like Genewise's main page much more than most sites I have used. Still, I think it would be nice to have more obvious notification to changes in blogs and forums and groups that I am interested in. The mail notifications stink, honestly. I don't want them in my mail. I want to open my home page and see right away what I have missed.
Yesterday, I fed my blog page and genewise's main page to Google Reader. BINGO!! There it is. I will probably add some other feeds from here, like the Dare group. Dave has got so much exciting stuff showing up there that I definitely want to follow it. More than likely, I will also add the brick walls and missing ancestors type of groups. ooops. Guess I should add my own group, too. huh.
Genewise, don't do away with your update listings on the main page. It is pretty good. Let me opt for email notification. I don't want it to be automatic. I have enough to remember without trying to remember to keep turning that off. You could try, however, a feed at the top that I can tweak to suit myself.
