The Wolford Connection

I have a literal ton of information on Wolford or Wohlford and about 17 other spellings. I want to share this information and thought a blog would be a good way. The information you will find here is mainly from my personal research and what was contributed for publication in a newsletter I did about 15 years ago called The Wolford Connection. I also have research that Elaine Wolford shared with me and asked me to share with others and research by Jon Wohlford.

My Wohlfords descend from Johannes Wolford  b. ca 1696 and arrived in Philadelphia 3 Sept 1739 on the Friendship. Johannes and wife Anna Maria Agatha are living in Rehersburg (Rehresburg) Berks Co PA in 1749 and he died there in 1752. I have a lot of information not only on them and their descendants  but on other Wolford lines around the country. Some Civil War information and cemeteries.
