Another quiet Sunday morning.
Another flurry of spam comments to delete. You almost never see them, they are quarantined the moment they post.
And another realization........ I'm not posting!
Well, maybe the occasional photo, but nothing of substance.
At least some of the photos were cute...maybe. Perhaps it's time to change that (the postings, not the allegedly cute photos)! Unfortunately it seems that writing follows the laws of inertia; A writer at rest tends to stay on his/her/its rump and do nothing. But one who is writing tends to keep writing; sometimes long after one should quit!
But, first a little background...............
I've been feeling "crummy" for a couple of months now. I attributed that to helping my children deal with the terminal illness and death of their Mother recently (we divorced over a decade ago, don't ask). But the total lack of motivation and zero (that's 000.000%) personal energy was about to affect my job. My employer - and more importantly - ME! I deserved better than this.
After a brief search and a longer wait, a primary care physician was found. The first visit put me through a battery of tests, exams, and a lengthy interview.
I find that I have a few correctable conditions to attend to ( high cholesterol, low testosterone, possible plaque build-up, etc.). There are more tests to do, but it seems I simply need a tune-up. He even said "You're in pretty good shape" (for being a geezer!)
Energy levels are beginning to rise a little. Motivation is peeking 'round the corner. I ain't dead yet. Let's see what I can "churn out" at the keyboard and get back to being my thoughtful, quiet, kind, normal self.
