  Virginia, and ten others from our society went to the SDGS meeting in Mission Valley, CA.

  We listend to Dr. Thomas Jones talk about Research and Methodology.

  He eloquently stated much of what I do and learned for everyone to understand the term: "Leave No Rock Unturned", 

  means exactly that. {My term, not his}  He showed this in charts and graphs and words and census and land records

  and general information.  He did a great surname comparison on a JONES surname. 

  He reminded people that language and brogue changed names and some times people did it themselves.

  He had a nice handout with information for being able to fall back on in case you felt like information overload.

  It was nice to see so many of our society there at the event.
