 How often do you open  your genealogy program and review what is actually in there?

 Are you aware of the files with out census information?  So much can be garnered from census data.

 Do you know if you have completed the information for Church data or marriage dates? The same applies for burial and death dates. 

 Amazing how  things look so nice and complete  but when you really start looking we have lots of dashes not filled in.

 Wondering how we will ever have the time to complete some of those dashes.

 A dear friend told me many years back when I got the computer to devote 30 minutes every day to add the data from 

 the file boxes to the system and I say also spend another 30 minutes reviewing the system for the dashes that need 

 filled in.

 This was a topic at one of our recent meetings regarding the dashes between the dates and names.

  I am working on filling in the census data and amazed at how much I have learned on some lines and dissappointed

  at what  I have not learned on other lines.  Ahhhh, but that is genealogy gathering.
