As many of you know, I write the
African-American Genealogy Examiner column at Examiner.com. Between how-to articles and news, I am at no loss for subject matter.
However, I would like to begin to periodically present case studies for research, examining the evidence and making suggestions for further research. While I may or may not be able to conduct any research on these cases (depending on the local/online availability of records) I still want to highlight some of the specific problems that people encounter in their research. This would also provide you with another venue to possibly connect with unknown relatives, as my columns average a little over 100 unique viewers per day.
If you are interested in your problem possibly being featured, please contact me here through GenealogyWise, or email me directly at michael.hait@hotmail.com.
