I bet this title grabbed your attention, but it's true,I have proof. Granny loved sex, should I be posting that little tidbit ? Is that to much information ? I thought it was when I first read it when Granny was cut off from my grandfathers civil war pension. My 2nd great grandfather died after the battle of Chicamauga,he died at Shellmound,Tennessee in 1863. Well Granny (I won't use her name out of respect) was drawing a widows pension on his time in service. Sometime in the 1870's I think it was,the government got wind that she was not exactly an upstanding citizen of the community and they cut off her income. Well that apperantly didn't set well with Granny,I guess she really needed that $8 bucks a month. Now Granny wasn't a prostitute if thats what your thinking,in her statement during a hearing to get the pension money back she said "I'm no vote seller". Now while reading this for the first time I'm thinking, "what in the world has voting got to do with sex ?" Until I voted in the last presidential election and then I found out. But anyway.......

Granny had a couple of children out of wedlock and she never denied any of it and told them why should she do "without"? I'm thinking at the time,NO GRANNY ! NO ! NO ! I don't know if it's just me but I can't stand the thought of my grandparents having sex ! And especially when it's NOT with my grandfather !! And before you post that comment that it's ok and natural cause it involved love and I wouldn't be here if they hadn't, I'm not the Rainman people.

There is just something weird that comes over me when I think about this, don't know why. But she got her pension reinstated & I assume enjoyed life until she passed away in 1904. I forgot to mention that several men who were "aquainted" with her also made written statements to the aforementioned activities that sort of made me gasp. One saying he enjoyed her company for several years ! AAahhh !!

So remember folks, what you do today will be found out by your kin in 100 years,or sooner. I think I'll start that autobiography now.

In fact....I was going to get her paperwork. Tell you what, I've got her father's paperwork coming. I'll trade you! I'd love to read that and no, it won't end up on the internet ;)

What an amazing story! Yes ...your title got my attention. At least you know you didn't have the 'ol, run 'a the mill granny. Incredible.
