Ada Charley letter to Thomas Riddell Sankey "Mother used to speak of her grandfather ephriam Coon, but not of a grandmother Coon. Perhaps she died in the East, Honoye Falls, NY.... Mother once said Ephriam, WI was named for our Grandfather Ephriam, Grandfather Coon had a store at Sturgeon bay in the early days and a boat on Lake Michigan".
