Do You Use Social Media? Facebook or Pinterest for Genealogy?

 

 Having found many relatives on Facebook how about you?  Filling in the blanks has become fun and interesting because you can see their faces right away and that is so much fun.

 Recently receiving a picture of hubbies Great Grandfather I know where his eyebrows probably came from.  It is a young man of 19 in the picture. The only other one he is in 60's, and side profile.

Samuel Casper, A Great Grandfather of Many

Christian JIPP b 1835 Germanic Region

Christian Jipp was born 18 Sept 1825 in Germanic Region of today's Germany. His death took place 4 Feb 1881 in Gramdorf, Germany  which is a region of Schleswig-Holstein.  He was only 45.  He married Sophia Johanna Henrietta 

Hammerich in Germanic region of Schleswig-Holstein we believe. She was born 16 Sept 1835 Gramdorf , and died 10 Feb 1900 in Wilton, IA.

Jipp- Nanke Family

 Charles Jipp and Lena Nanke had several children.  If by chance any of you are related would you please sign in or get back to Mary Pentico Nelson or I. 

Or if any of you are related to Grandpa Jipp from the old country or Germany we would love to hear from you.

I have little information on Grandfather Jipp due to his death shortly before MOM Louise Jipp Pentico born.  Fred's Mom never knew her father.  Her older siblings knew him a bit.
